Honors, Achievements and Affiliations:
Professor Samiee has published in leading marketing and international business journals including: Journal of Marketing, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, and Journal of International Business Studies. Outstanding Reviewer Award, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, 1997–2000; The third most prolific author in the Journal of Business Research (1985–1999); Among the top 10 contributing authors to the international marketing literature by the Journal of Teaching in International Business (1997); Among the top 10 contributors to the Journal of The Academy of Marketing Science (1986–1995); Outstanding Professor 1991

Professor Saeed Samiee, Ph.D., project Co-Director for the Institute of International Business Education, a joint project between The University of Tulsa and Moscow State Institute of Electronics Technology. Research, executive training, and academic seminars in the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and in the Asia-Pacific countries. Publications have appeared in scholarly journals including Journal of marketing, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Business Research, and California Management Review. Member of the editorial review boards of ten academic journals.

The University of Tulsa, in partnership with the Moscow Institute of Electronics Technology (MIET), established Institute for International Business Education (IBE) in 1992 to bring American-style higher education in business to Russia. IBE was the first Western-style business curriculum to be approved by the Russian Ministry of Education. Subsequently, the IBE project was rated among the top three programs by the United States Information Agency in 1995. IBE was fully accredited by the Russian Ministry of Education in 1999. Graduates of IBE are currently working for such firms as Arthur Andersen, P&G, Motorola, and Nokia. For information regarding this program, please contact the IBE Rector, L.
