Conversation with Deputy-Prefect of Zelenograd Natalia Sviridova

IBE is at hand to celebrate the 15^th anniversary of the 1^st graduates of Management Bachelor’s degree of the First higher education program and the 10^th anniversary of the Second higher education program.

On the threshold of these jubilees the meeting between Lyubov V.Yakovle

va, Rector of IBE, and Natalia Sviridova, Deputy-Prefect of Zelenograd, took place.

The brief content of the talk is as follows:

L.V. – Natalya Anatol’evna, you were a student of the first group of the Second higher program. Would you compare notes with us about your studying at IBE?

N.A. — Before answering your question I should mention that a member of our group also was Alexei Ivanovich Mikhal’chenkov, First First Deputy-Prefect of Zelenograd. Initially we all thought that it was impossible to teach us something more than we knew, because each of us possessed sufficient professional and life experience. But after the first lectures we all realized that we would learn quite a lot. And it turned up like that. Each lecture was a revelation. Earlier we did not have any idea about modern management, team-work, leadership, business, marketing, international management, etc.

L.V. – Yes, we are really very proud of such graduates of our program. To what extent did we knowledge you have got come in useful for your following professional life?

N.A. – To great extent. We were eager to use our knowledge in practice. I did it while working in private business. I have realized that our colleagues should also be taught and trained in up-to-date knowledge in field of management, otherwise there will be problems in their activities. On the whole, new knowledge proved useful to me. Therefore I am very grateful to IBE and I’m very proud that many years ago I had the good fortune to become a student of this institute.

L.V. — Thank you very much for such kind words. Next year we’ll celebrate 20^th anniversary of IBE. What would you advise us on the threshold of this important Jubilee?

N.A. – In spite of everything – to develop your activities. IBE is a very worthy institute with modern methods of teaching people as well as grown-ups. Careers of IBE graduates are striking. What can be more important than quality of education? Leaders of our country as well as administrators and managers, who are interested in young, educated and skilled specialists are anxious about this problem. I wish IBE further progress and prosperity, and I’m sure you will be a great success.

N.V. – Thanks a lot, Natalia Anatol’evna. We also wish you to be a great success in all your very important sectors of activity in Zelenograd. Nothing can be more noble than teaching and treating. You personally help everyone who has thrown his professional lot with education and public health in order to settle complex but very important problems of social development.
