Annual scientific inter-institute conference was held on the 22d of April in IBE

Annual scientific inter-institute conference was held on the 22d of April in IBE. Faculty members and the students took part in it. The topic of the conference "The problems of social-economic development of Eastern European countries nowadays” roused interests of our friendly partner MIRBIS. Two students of this institute presented their reports: Pomaskina Maria (3d year student) with the topic "Anticrisis program of Baltic tigers” and Savina Olga (3d year student) with the topic "Eastern partnership” (the program of strategic interaction of Euro union and Ukraine, Byelorussia, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan). Professor Zavialova as a supervisor.

The following faculty members and students of IBE took part in the conference:

Kirichenko Irina, Knutova Ksenia, Temnikova Marina, (second-year students, Zhukova as a supervisor of the project) – "Comparative analysis of the main macro economical indices of Belorussia and the Ukrain”; Kuznetsov V. (second-year student) – "Bank crisis in Eastern Europe” (Milova as a supervisor of the project); Sherstneva E. (4-year student) – "Prospects and problems of science and research cooperation of Russia with the countries of EU; Strikel O., PhD, docent of the department of management and finance – "Deficiency of professionalism as a critical problem in modern Russia”; Milova V., a senior lecturer of the Department of management and finance, — "The lesons of world finance crisis for Russia”. Rector, PhD, Professor Yakovleva L. presented the report "Basic indices characterizing social-economic development of modern Russia”.

The reports were interesting and pithy but the most attractive part of the conference was discussing of questions of vital importance connected with modern situation in Russia and some Eastern European countries.
